Day umm Monday... Its around 11:56pm on Monday night about to be Tuesday morning and I can't sleep because well Jess FINALLY got her computer so I'm actually able to spend more than 5 minutes on the internet at one time! talk about exciting!!
Lets see here... the room - there are two twin beds with multi colored bedspreads WOW. (we are both 22... BUT if you saw the room you'd think we were 7...) pictures to come soon..
there is a desk, two nightstands and a closest thingy... and thats it... Jess and I are planning to get a couple of things for the room like a clothes basket and some sort of organizer for all our hair stuff... (the whole idea to perm my hair!? wtf!!?...) i actually have to do stuff with my hair now to make it look cute... ehhh! lol...
we got a full length mirror because the only mirror in the house is in the bathroom which is around the corner and well.. 4 people sharing the bathroom? not cool... lol hopefully jess and i will have early mornings so we wont have to fight for the bathroom... lol
soooo... today jess and I met with Robbie the disitric Manager and well long story short they split Jess and I up... WTF!? we fkeaking traveled ALL this way to Australia to be split up!!? SOOOOO NOTTTT COOOL!!! but.... i'd have to say in the end EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON... and well my store is the 'business store' where Jess has the 'Mall Store' so I will have more regualrs and well thats why I LOVE starbucks... so thats good for me...jess has the new barista machines whereas I have the old ones... (Which I am a bit scared off... jess is beyond jealous that i get to work with them bc well i guess once you learn how to use one of those you can get a job anyway working with coffee...) and well... shoot, i dont wanna work at starbucks forever... BUT hey maybe... lol ;)
Jess doesn't start work until NEXT thursday whereas I probably start this Monday... ah! My Manager seems REALLY nice... she is from Australia whereas Jess's store manager is from Washington... ahah weird yet again! lol... My store is mainly boys whereas jess's store is mainly girls... lol... we have a lot of differences within the stores BUT i think her and I will find our fit at each of them...
I miss everyone. loads. not seeing my mom everyday is hard. and not being able to talk to her sucks even more. i'm glad i finally have a computer i can actually KINDA talk to her more... its weird the longest i've ever been away from her was 5 weeks and that was for India... ah! Oneyear... (well maybe like 10months... lol) is going to be hard.. but i can do this... i know i can... and don't even get me started on Jamie... ah! the other day i finally got to talk to her... and i honestly couldnt say anything... except... 'i cant talk to you...' i didn't think it was going to be this hard...
on a happy note... I got a cell phone or rather a 'moblie phone' so i have FREE incoming calls and incoming texts SOOOO... if you ever wanna call me... umm CALL ME!!! lol email me and i'll get you the number..
I'm not too overwhelmed yet. the city is amazing. i love it. its like a mini new york city. there are some REALLY weird outfits here. like whoa. i sometimes wonder if they dont have a mirror because whoa... the bus ride from where we live into the city is about 12 minutes on a good day.
the weather has been bipolar... raining, not raining, cold, and then hot, and then raining again... seriously!? ah! we have to walk about 15 minutes to the bus stop so HOPEFULLY the rain goes away once we start working...
my starbucks is further away than jess's... i told her.. lol i will get more exerise than her... lol BUT her store doesn't have a bathroom so she'd have to go into the mall to go to the bathroom.. lol... (my store has a bathroom... no worries...)
well... Im sitting in my bed while i listen to Jess toss and turn... (themain light is still on..) and well i bet she cant sleep listening to me type so off to bed i go... I love and miss you all...
