I might be finished with Finals.. but I haven't walked yet... so I haven't 'officially' graduated yet but in 4 days I will be walking to accept my diploma.. whoa!
Who ever would've thought... me! graduate college!!??
wow! It still hasn't hit me that I don't have to sign up for classes next semester and I don't have to worry about parking or work/school or sorority functions because I'm done.
The only thing I have to worry about now is moving...
As you probably already know I decided before last semester that I was going to go to Australia after I graduated...
The number one question I get is: why are you going there? and my response to that is ' why not?' I'm 22 years old just graduated college and I have nothing holding me back... yet
I don't want to look back on my life and say man I wish I would've gone... or I wish I would've done something after college instead of just starting my career...
I know my career will always be there.. and it will even be in Australia.. so you never know maybe I'll just start my life career there...
I'm excited to be going and extremely nervous at the same time.. but I'm so beyond ready to spread my wings and fly... I read a quote tonight about trying and failing and it made me think about this trip because it is better to try and fail then to have never tried at all... which is so true.. If I go over to Australia and fail.. sure it might suck but hey at least I tired..
I was also reading about how you should always do things for yourself and not worry about what others are saying or doing.. which again made me think about this trip.. it really doesn't matter what others are saying because they aren't going on this trip.. it really comes down to how I feel and how I'm doing...
I wanted to start a blog so I could easyly update people while I am on my travels besides just emails.. and also so this way I can always look back and see exactly what I went through...
Thank you all for all your support!!!
I will miss you all!!!
love always,
day
